The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center - situated on the scenic River Walk in downtown San Antonio, Texas - is located in the heart of this city's most popular historical and tourist attractions. Easily accessed by river taxis, the San Antonio River runs through this convention center.

This convention center highlights over 630,000 total square feet of exhibit space, with over 400,000 of it adjoining. Three ballrooms, including one grand space, and sixty plus meeting rooms characterize the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.

The Henry B. Gonzalez spotlights unique features such as the Lonesome Dove Room, which comes equipped with a Western theme including special photographs from the television series of the same name.

Hosting over three hundred events a year, this convention center is considered to be one of the most successful of its kind in the United States. Constructed in 1968 in conjunction with the Hemis Fair, it is named after Henry Barbosa González, a United States congressman.
