Cleveland Museum of Natural History

Over 4 million specimens are found here organized in a number of different collections. Most of the exhibits are hands on, allowing for the ultimate learning experience. They include various old world items such as dinosaur bones and fossils. There are also seemingly countless specimens of plants, insects and animals.

Those guests curious about the universe will enjoy the planetarium. Topics of astronomy and cosmology are presented there daily during 35 minute shows. Museum astronomers are present to engage the audience with stimulating question answer sessions.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

This is Cleveland's number 1 tourist attraction. It is located right on shore of Lake Erie and encompasses some 150,000 square feet. The world's most famous rock and rollers past and present are honored here. Visitors are treated with a number of different temporary and permanent exhibitions that present the music and details of the lives of their favorite artists.

There is a cafe there that sells the works of hall of fame inductees along with beverages and snacks. In front of the hall, sits a large plaza where concerts regularly take place in the summer.

Cleveland Museum of Art

This is well known as one of the nation's most prestigious institutions of art; and admission is free. The collections found inside its walls are envied in the art world. Notable paintings include works of Art Nouveau and French impressionist painters.

Of particular interest at the museum is a collection of armor from medieval times. There are a dozen fine pieces on display in a beautifully lit courtyard.

Educational programs are regular occurrences at the museum. Lectures, discussions and films are open to anyone wanting deeper knowledge of art and art history.

Cleveland Browns Stadium

A football game is a great way to burn a Cleveland afternoon. The stadium is a state of the art complex that takes up 31acres and has seating for over 73,000 people. Those who do not like pigskin playtime but still want to go to the stadium are in luck. The stadium hosts non-football events as well, from other sporting events like soccer to concerts.
